Free website & business trust checker.

Enter a business name and website. In about 30 seconds you get a 0–100 Trust Score, a Trust Level, and the specific trust signals that are missing — the same checks a cautious customer or an AI assistant runs before deciding whether you're safe to buy from.

AI Trust Score

Get an honest read on how trustworthy your business appears online.

What the trust check looks at.

Website quality

HTTPS, real contact details, policy pages, About page depth and how the site presents itself to a first-time visitor.

Reviews & ratings

Volume, recency, average rating and whether the review profile looks organic or thin.

Listings & consistency

Whether the business name, address and phone match across the public web (NAP consistency).

Findability

Whether the business can actually be found and verified by a customer — or an AI assistant — searching for it.

Red flags

Missing policies, unreachable contact paths, contradictory information and other signals that make buyers hesitate.

Trust Score 0–100

One objective score plus a Trust Level, so you know where you stand before your customers decide.

After the check: fix the gaps.

A score on its own doesn't win customers. These guides turn the gaps the check finds into concrete changes.

How do I check if a website is legit?

+

Work through the evidence a real buyer can verify: (1) is the site on HTTPS; (2) is there a real business name, address and phone that match other listings; (3) are there reviews on independent platforms with recent dates; (4) are refund, privacy and terms pages present and specific rather than boilerplate; (5) does the About page name real people; (6) does contacting them get a response. Vettify's free trust check runs those checks for you and returns a 0–100 Trust Score so you don't have to do it manually.

Is there a free website checker for trust signals?

+

Yes. Vettify's trust check is free and takes about 30 seconds: enter the business name and website, and the scanner collects public evidence — site quality, reviews, listings, consistency — then returns a Trust Score from 0 to 100 with a Trust Level. If there isn't enough public evidence to judge fairly, it says 'Unable to Evaluate' instead of guessing.

How can I check a business's reputation online?

+

Check four sources and compare them: the Google Business Profile (review count, recency, response rate), independent review platforms, the business's own website (policies, contact details, About page), and third-party mentions. Discrepancies between them are the strongest warning sign. A trust check automates the comparison and flags the discrepancies.

What is a good Trust Score?

+

On Vettify's 0–100 scale: 80+ means a customer or AI assistant can verify you quickly and confidently; 60–79 means the fundamentals are there but gaps are costing you conversions; below 60 means a first-time buyer has to take you on faith. Most small businesses score in the 40–65 range on their first scan, almost always because of missing policy pages, thin reviews, or inconsistent listings.

Does the free trust check store my results?

+

Your scan result is shown to you immediately. If you create a free account, your scan is saved so you can track your Trust Score over time and see whether the fixes you make actually move it. Paid plans keep the full evidence report and a prioritized task list.

Can I check a competitor or a supplier?

+

Yes — the trust check only uses public evidence, so you can run it on any business you're considering buying from, supplying, or competing against. Many users run their top three competitors first to see how their own score compares.
