Terms of Service

1. About these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Vettify ("Vettify", "we", "us"), the provider of the Vettify business trust evaluation platform. By creating an account or using Vettify, you agree to these Terms.
2. The service
Vettify provides business trust evaluations, reports, ongoing monitoring, a Vettified badge program, and a public directory for eligible businesses. Trust Scores™ are informational and reflect signals available at the time of evaluation; they are not a guarantee of business outcomes.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for your account, credentials, and all activity under it. You must provide accurate information, keep it current, and, if signing up on behalf of an organisation, confirm you have authority to bind it.
4. Acceptable use
You must not: (a) use the service unlawfully or fraudulently; (b) infringe intellectual property rights; (c) transmit malware or probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service; (d) scrape or misuse data; or (e) submit content that is deceptive, defamatory, or otherwise unlawful.
5. Intellectual property
Vettify and its software, reports, methodology, badge, and branding are owned by Vettify and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service in accordance with your plan.
6. Payments, subscriptions and Merchant of Record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Payment terms, billing, currency conversion, sales tax/VAT, cancellations, and refunds are governed by the Paddle Checkout Buyer Terms. Paid subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. One-time purchases (e.g. Trust Snapshot™, Full Business Evaluation) are non-recurring. Prices may change with notice; changes to recurring plans take effect at the next renewal.
7. Refunds
Refund requests are handled per our Refund Policy, with refunds processed by Paddle.
8. Service levels and disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that Trust Scores will produce specific results. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vettify's aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amounts you paid to Vettify (through Paddle) in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may cancel at any time via your account or Paddle's customer portal (paddle.net).
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the seller's jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
